How an entire
new meta was born.

₸USD was launched on Base through the Mint.Club launchpad. We wanted a different kind of launch — not the usual memecoin tokenomics, not a hype cycle. The plan was simple: a fixed supply of one million tokens and a starting price of $1, simulating the stability of USDT with room to grow from there.

The first 800,000 tokens were available to anyone at a fixed $1, with the option to withdraw the USDC at any time — every early holder was fully backed. The remaining 200,000 went into a Uniswap pool, and the LP tokens were burned permanently.

People were not used to that kind of launch, and demand stayed low. Two pools, a backed price and a withdrawal option were simply too much to explain in a timeline that scrolls. The structure was honest and nobody had the patience for it.

So the only viable option was a relaunch, and that is exactly what we did. The old contract still exists for provenance only: no trading, no reason to interact with it, fully replaced by the token that trades today.

Basescan confirms it officially: the first contract's page carries their notice that the TurboUSD Unstablecoin token contract has migrated to a new address — the ₸USD that trades today — and the old contract is tagged Old ₸USD Token.

₸USD relaunched as a Clanker token: a fair launch on the protocol everyone on Base knows and trusts, with 100 billion tokens minted once and never again, and the liquidity position renounced in the same transaction that created it.

Behind it was a year of social growth since the idea first appeared in 2024. Nothing was pre-sold, nothing was promised. The journey starts here.
